Earlier today I had the opportunity to check out Audio Tree Studios in Chicago. I was there to interview Howling Brothers, a bluegrass trio out of Nashville who are opening for Brendan Benson tonight at Lincoln Hall. They’ve been playing together since their college days in Ithica, NY, and if you’ve seen some of their live videos, you can tell they’ve worked hard on their craft. Their work has paid off now, as Benson himself produced their upcoming record and signed them to his label. We get to all that and more in the video below:
