I saw Zigtebra play a show at Empty Bottle earlier this year and I really enjoyed their set. I haven’t reviewed their album The Brave because it came out last year and I have a hard enough time keeping up with current  records. I’ve listened to it a couple times, but not enough to give a deeply intelligent take. Go check it out for yourself here.

They released a cool low-budget video for their song “Bay Bay” last week, which just happens to be my favorite song they do. The video is smart; it takes a look at the utterly ridiculous amount of harassment females have to deal with on a daily basis. 

The duo is touring across the nation through August, so check out their Facebook page for info on that. A part of their tour money is going to National Alliance on Mental Illness, so maybe but a ticket or shirt even if you end up not loving them (but how could you not?)
