In a twist I never would have seen coming in a million years, the show at Bottom Lounge started early yesterday. Your Friend was the opener, and by the time I got into the venue the set was more than half over. I could faintly hear them playing from the lobby while I waited with a couple hundred people. The doors opened at 5, with a start time of 5:30 that turned into 5:15 so that they could ensure an ending time that would allow them to get their late show started on time.

I only got to hear a little bit of Your Friend’s set, which is unfortunate. What I heard was good, I just wish I could have heard more.
