It’s been almost a full year since the last time Molehill was mentioned on this site. That seems crazy, because for a while there they were dominating the bandwidth here. It was just two years ago that I asked them to play the 5th anniversary show for Music.Defined., and they blew the roof off of Beat Kitchen in doing so. Last week they hit UpState in South Bend, a mere 25 minutes from where I grew up, and recorded a new live video for the track “Tin God.”

If you’re still unaware of Molehill, enjoy this video and then go check them out on Sunday night when they open for Red Sun Rising at Bottom Lounge. That was the first place I saw them play, and the first show I covered as Music.Defined. Tickets for this Sunday’s show are still available here.
