morgxn To Prove vital On Tour With Robert DeLong

morgxn has come a very long way in a very short time. The piano-playing singer/songwriter released his first single in 2016 after working with iconic DJ Tiesto in two tracks in 2015. Since then he’s put out a handful of singles and a full-length album titled vital. Earlier this year he followed that album with a 5-song EP of stripped down tunes called vital: blue.

The contrast between the two records shows his range as a musician and songwriter. Growing up in Nashville he was surrounded by music, and the influence of those sounds he heard as a child have stuck with him to this day. The passion and sincerity with which he delivers “me without you” is a thing of beauty in both performance and message.

If there’s a hurt without falling
is there an end without warning
all I know love, all I know love
is I don’t know me without you

Previous tours with Skylar Grey and Phoebe Ryan eventually led to spots at festivals like Lollapalooza and Firefly. Starting Wednesday he’s opening for Robert DeLong on a nationwide trek, all the while looking for high schools and groups to participate in his #whatisvital project. It’s a great way to keep young people engaged in the world around them. He lays it all out on his website, which you can find here.

The tour kicks off in Chicago at Concord Music Hall. You can find ticket info for this date and all others here.
