I missed an opportunity to see Alaina Castillo in a smaller venue here in Chicago back at the end of 2021. I regret it, because that was probably the only chance I’ll ever have to see her perform in a place like that. Her star has continued to rise, holding her own as she played the stage with huge names like H.E.R. and Coldplay.

“éxtasis” is Castillo’s first release of 2023, and the debut track for her upcoming dance EP. It’s a certified banger, with moments I could imagine making the club blow up with joy as people feel the groove produced by Grammy nominee RØMANS.
