Titus Andronicus-An Anomaly

Titus Andronicus is about to drop their seventh album, and yesterday they released a seven minute music video for the track “An Anomaly.” As a big fan of Patrick Stickles and his devotion to rock music, I am excited to hear all the new instant classics Titus has in store for us at the end of this month when The Will To Live is released.

However, when Stickles mentioned in the Patreon email for this video that he was “out here making moves,” I did not think he was talking about his sick dance moves. This video, which Stickles directed himself, is pretty much seven minutes of dancing in front of the camera. For some reason this cracks me up, and also I absolutely love it.

I can’t quite put my finger on it, but something about this video makes me think about The Clash. There’s an image in my head of them walking around in London and Stickles dancing through Paris brings that image straight to the front of my brain.

This looks like they had a ton of fun filming, and I hope the upcoming live shows are equally as joyful.
